Baxi Duo-Tec 40 (ErP) Combi Boiler Only

The Baxi Duo-Tec combi boiler range and the Baxi Platinum combi boiler range are basically the same boiler except the Baxi Duo-Tec comes with a 7 year extended manufacturers warranty where as the Baxi Platinum comes with a 10 year extended manufacturers warranty.

The Baxi Duo-Tec combi boiler range also has a 28kw LPG option for properties that don't have a natural gas supply to the property. 

If your boiler is sill under warranty you will need to call the boiler manufacturer on the dedicated number in the back of the manual. The manufacturer will then arrange for one of their engineers to visit your property and fix or replace any parts under the terms and conditions of the manufacturers warranty.

When calling the manufacturer to book an engineers visit please make sure to have the following information -

• Address where the boiler is installed
• Boiler serial number (which can be found on the in the back of the manual which the installer should have filled out or on the information plate inside the casing of the boiler.)
• A description of the fault

All boilers are compatible with a vertical flue you just need to make sure that the correct make and model vertical flue that was designed to be used with the boiler is purchased and installed.

• The vertical flue must be made by the same manufacturer
• The vertical flue must be listed as a compatible flue by the boiler manufacturer, usually indicated by the part number.

Yes all our products come with a guarantee.

Guarantees or warranties vary, by product and manufacturer.

All our products are guaranteed for a minimum of 1 year (radiators 10 years, copper tube 25 years) but many offer longer warranties from the manufacturer, which you may need to register for.

On each product, under the specification tab, you will find more information on the guarantee or Warranty.

Follow links through to various manufacturers sites, as each manufacturer will have its own terms and conditions for qualifying for longer warranties.

You do not want to miss out by getting the wrong installer for some boilers etc.

As Boilers and radiators are installed by third parties, they do have to install in compliance with regulations and manufacturer standards to get the full benefit of the warranty.

As long as these ar fulfilled, you will get the maximum life and support from your new purchase.
