Combination Economy 7 direct cylinders are particularly suited to properties without loft space, e.g. flats, bungalows or bedsits. Designed for use in conjunction with an immersion heater, this single 1200 x 450mm cylinder combines a cold water cistern and a hot water tank removing the need for a cold water storage tank and reducing installation costs.

The main difference between a vented and unvented water storage cylinder is that an unvented hot water cylinder takes its water supply directly from the mains.

You can get hot water out of an unvented cyinder at a much better pressure than a traditional vented cylinder as it is pressurised.
