Economy 7 900 x 450mm direct copper cylinder is for use in conjunction with off-peak electricity tariffs. The cylinder incorporates two side entry immersion heater bosses: the bottom one for the Economy 7 overnight tariff and the top one to give a day-time boost if required. A baffle plate fitted over the cold feed minimises mixing of hot and cold water.

You can get hot water out of an unvented cyinder at a much better pressure than a traditional vented cylinder as it is pressurised.
