Economy 7 1500 x 450mm direct copper cylinder is to be used in conjunction with off-peak electricity tariffs. The cylinder incorporates two side entry immersion bosses: the bottom heater for the Economy 7 overnight tariff and the top one for a day-time boost. A baffle plate is fitted over the cold feed to minimise mixing of hot and cold water.

You can get hot water out of an unvented cyinder at a much better pressure than a traditional vented cylinder as it is pressurised.
