Mr Central Heating is now a proud member of The Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC). This is a member organization committed to effectively driving, supporting and influencing the sustained growth of the UK domestic heating and hot water industry and we are very pleased to be a part of it.
Key initiatives and driving change
As we work towards our sustainability mission, being a member of the HHIC will be a great benefit. One of their key initiatives is to support the decarbonization of heating and hot water in UK homes and businesses as well as lobbying and providing advice to the government on practical solutions to this changeover.
Keeping up to date with the latest tech and regulations
They will also keep us fully up to date on all of the latest technical and regulatory changes in the sector and continue to encourage best practice across the industry, something that is very important to us.
Leading the way for new eco friendly standards
Some of their more recent achievements include lead work on the UK green gas agenda around Hydrogen, directly influenced the introduction of minimum performance standard of domestic gas boilers and various projects on the importance of water treatment.
Making complicated issues understandable and busting myths
