Why Nest is best!

Introducing the Nest Thermostat E.

With the introduction of the latest room thermostat from Nest it has not only created a beautiful piece of furniture to subtly suit and home, it has also created a new any easy way to update your existing room thermostat. The Nest range of thermostats are probably the most desirable and beautiful ever created and have revolutionised the way you we look at controlling our central heating. You do not have to have that boring white, angular mechanical room stat on the wall anymore because things have just got a whole lot more ergonomic and you just want to reach out and touch it. This is the whole basis behind Nest and they actually want you to touch and feel it as all the Nest Thermostats are learning thermostats so they respond to your actions. The Nest Thermostat E is state of the art technology and responds to movement, external and internal temperatures making sure you are comfortable in your home. Furthermore it also saves you energy by reducing you energy consumption by some unique features like Home and away and the Nest Leaf that rewards you when you save energy by turning the temperature down in the house.

So what makes the Nest Thermostat E so easy and revolutionary?

Unlike other radio frequency room thermostats or remote controlled stats the Nest Thermostat E uses the in situ wires to create the simplest of installation. Other thermostats require new connections to the boiler and for instance the Hive or Netamo require a receiver to be wired into the boiler. The Nest Thermostat E uses the existing wiring to the boiler to allow not only quick and fast installation, but you do not need to be an electrician to update your thermostat to the state of the art technology.

Is the Nest Thermostat E for me?

Most houses in the UK have an existing basic mechanical room thermostat in the hallway. This would include Honeywell, Satchwell, Drayton, Myson and Danfoss. If you do have one of these then the Nest Thermostat E is absolutely perfect for you. Things to understand first is that the Nest Thermostat E is just a programmable room thermostat and not a twin channel programmer. It is ideal for Combination boilers and other boilers that you just want to control the temperature in the house. The Nest Thermostat E does not control your hot water. This is where terminology is key and Mr Central Heating is happy to help, to guide you through the best option to change your existing thermostat.

Easy to use

This is where Nest definitely excels against its rivals like Netamo and Hive because it is so user friendly once installed. The Nest app is so easy to use and if you have other Nest products or are looking to integrate other connected home items, the Nest app is the market leading. Nest was built to make life easier and Nest Thermostat E, was even developed to be “Easy”.
