Please be aware that the element MUST be no more than half the wattage of the towel rail it's being used with, therefore this element is for use with towel rails with an output of 800 watts or more. This 400 watt electric dual fuel towel rail summer element allows any standard towel rail with connections at the bottom to also be used by mains powered electric. The benefits of this are that the rails can be turned on or off as required, meaning you don't have to turn on your entire central heating system when you just want warm towels in the summer giving you warm towels all year round. Can be used with thermo control plate. Must have fused spur protection. BEAB approved EN 60335-1 : 2002; EN 50366 : 2003.

Customer Questions
Hi can I install an electric towel rail upside down? I'm replacing a fan heater where the electric outlet is high up.

Yes all 4 connections have a 1/2" female threaded.

Are your products guaranteed?

Yes all our products come with a guarantee.

Guarantees or warranties vary, by product and manufacturer.

All our products are guaranteed for a minimum of 1 year (radiators vary - see individual product specifications, copper tube 25 years) but many offer longer warranties from the manufacturer, which you may need to register for.

On each product, under the specification tab, you will find more information on the guarantee or Warranty.

Follow links through to various manufacturers sites, as each manufacturer will have its own terms and conditions for qualifying for longer warranties.

You do not want to miss out by getting the wrong installer for some boilers etc.

As Boilers and radiators are installed by third parties, they do have to install in compliance with regulations and manufacturer standards to get the full benefit of the warranty.

As long as these are fulfilled, you will get the maximum life and support from your new purchase.
