Mr Central Heating – Our Privacy Policy
Mr Central Heating works hard to ensure that the processing of your personal data complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act (DPA 2018) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). - Mr Central Heating respects your right to privacy. However, it should be noted that the internet is not a secure medium and therefore we have worked hard to implement appropriate security measures.

However, no guarantees can be given that your personal data can be fully protected, so we would encourage you to be vigilant when using the internet and accessing our website.

Part 2: How we use your personal data and our legal basis for doing so
- To place an order, enter a promotion or take part in an online survey, you will be required to supply some personal information, this may include your name, address, phone number and email address. For security purposes we may also collect your IP address or other identifying information.
- Where possible all personal data will be processed on the basis of legitimate interests. This could include to tell you about new products and services and sending you marketing communication and offers to use in stores or on our website. We may also send you surveys to help us improve our service and company newsletters.

- We may also use your email address and sometimes telephone number, on the legal basis of contractual to confirm orders placed online or instore. These are also known as transactional emails and you will still receive these even if you unsubscribe from receiving marketing communications.
- In a limited number of circumstances Mr Central Heating may require your consent to process your personal data, such as when we process special categories of personal data, if you are an employee please ask HR for more details.
- Mr Central Heating may also use personal and profile data in order to provide you with a more customise experience when you next visit our website.
- We may use your IP address or other identifying information to help diagnose problems with our server, to monitor numbers of users and/or to administer our interactive services as well as to identify and eliminate fraud.
- Limited personal data is sometimes used for profiling to help with social media targeting using our chosen Platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn. We also use limited personal profiling to support promotional activities on Google.
- Google API Limited Use Disclosure - when we use and transfer to any other app information received from Google APIs, we will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Part 3: How long will you keep my data?
- We will retain your personal data for as long as required in order to give you the services you're using in accordance with our data retention policy.
- If you don't engage with us then your details may be deleted in line with our data retention policy.

Part 4: Where we store your personal data
- Where possible personal data is stored and processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, some of Mr Central Heating’s suppliers are based outside the EEA. Where data is processed by our suppliers, we will always put in place appropriate safeguards including Data Processing Agreements and for those outside the EEA who don’t meet data protection adequacy, International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs).

- To exercise your right of access, identification may be required. Mr Central Heating will accept the following forms of identification: a copy of your driving licence, passport, birth certificate and a utility bill not older than three months. A minimum of one piece of photographic ID listed above and a supporting document is required.
