Boilers by type

If you're replacing an existing boiler, the first thing to do is to check what type of system you currently have installed. For example, if you have tanks in the loft and a hot water cylinder then you have a conventional boiler, but if you don't have any of these and the boiler fires up when you turn on the hot water then you have a combination boiler. But it's important to remember that our homes have changed in the last few years - radiators have become more efficient, insulation is thicker and better, boilers and controls have become more advanced - and your heating and hot water requirements may have changed too.
