The Elegance Wave black nickel TRV (thermostatic radiator valve) 15mm twin pack complete with lockshield provides a stylish alternative to regular white and chrome radiator valve sets  without breaking the bank. This mid-price quality valve offers a contemporary finish for any radiator style, but is especially suited to coloured radiators where white or chrome just don't look right.

Looking for black radiators, heard they never give out as much heat as the standard white ones, is this true?

To some extent, yes. Painted radiators do give out a little less heat compared to standard white radiators but the difference is minor. It will not impact the radiators ability to produce heat and heat a whole room. However, all of our colours are done by using a powder coating and so the colour makes no difference to the heat output. If you are considering painting a rad yourself, please not the more layers of heat resistant paint you add, the great the impact on performance.

You do not want to miss out by getting the wrong installer for some boilers etc.

As Boilers and radiators are installed by third parties, they do have to install in compliance with regulations and manufacturer standards to get the full benefit of the warranty.
