Over time, circulating debris in your heating system can accumulate and cause problems. A magnetic filter like the Mag One DUO captures both magnetic and non-magnetic debris, preserving and improving the efficiency of your system for years. While not mandatory, installing a central heating filter is highly advised. If you're having a new Grant oil boiler, hybrid, or air source heat pump installed by a G1 Installer, a suitable magnetic filter is required to activate the extended G1 guarantee on your Grant appliance.
- Provides system protection for heating systems using a boiler up to 36kW in heating output and heat pump systems up to 10kW heating output – for larger systems, two Mag One DUO filters can be fitted in a parallel circuit.
- Uses a 12,000 gauss neodymium magnet designed to effectively capture magnetic debris and a 500-micron mesh gauze to capture non-ferrous debris circulating in a heating system.
